EspañolAbstract
The agri-food company faces problems managing its finished product (FP) warehouse, mainly due to the saturation of available space and the interference between production and shipping areas. This disorder generates downtime, picking errors, and safety risks. To improve operational efficiency, strategies of an ABC inventory model and cause-effect analysis (Ishikawa) were implemented. These approaches allowed the reorganization of the warehouse, optimized available space, improved safety, and reduced operational errors.
